Exploring x_treme spatiality's which focus on new x_tremes environments and habitats challenging architectural conventions of interior and exterior with a design task, a gravity environment and non gravity environments, on the exterior and interior conditions on both earth ground (gravity) locations and ground conditions for terrestrial (non gravity) locations. The focus of the architectural research will be the development of a highly specialized spaceport and space station habitats.

As resources on Earth deplete rapidly due to the fast-growing human population, scientists have set out to seek possibilities for space colonization since a long time ago. However, technological thresholds of launch vehicles have limited the distance of space exploration and resulted in a tremendous amount of space junk in the Low Earth Orbit, which, together with asteroids, has become a hazard for all spacecraft at work in low earth orbit. Space junk is formed mainly by defunct spacecraft in orbit and partly by collisions between themselves. Therefore in this project we are looking at the possibility of designing a space colony in low earth orbit that deals with the issue of space junk and asteroids by harvesting and transforming them into resources for subsequent expansion of the colony.
